A sincere thank-you to all members who submitted applications to serve on IPIC Committees. With over 300 applicants, we’re thrilled to see such strong engagement and interest in contributing to our IP community.

IPIC Committees are small, volunteer work-team inside IPIC. Each committee brings together about 20 to 30 IPIC members who share expertise in a specific area, like patents, trademarks, education, or government relations. Committees also tackle hands-on projects such as creating training courses and webinars, drafting submissions to government, publishing articles, or planning events. Each committee runs on a two-year cycle, to ensure members collaborate long enough to make real progress and keep ideas fresh.
IPIC Communities are groups of members with a common professional interest. They can be based on issues, practice profiles, region – or any topic that meets member needs. Structured differently than Committees, Communities do not require an assigned Board Liaison and may have an unlimited number of members. Communities may be short‐term or long‐term in nature, can address time‐sensitive issues, on‐going concerns, or support special interests.
