IPIC Advocacy
IPIC Advocacy
IPIC’s advocacy is central to its mission to shape a policy and business environment that encourages the development, use, and value of intellectual property in Canada.
Through submissions to government consultations, IPIC-led initiatives, and court interventions on matters of public interest or significance to the IP profession, IPIC brings the expertise of its members to key legal, regulatory, and policy discussions.
This work helps ensure that the perspectives of intellectual property professionals are reflected in decisions affecting Canada’s innovation ecosystem, the administration of IP rights, and the future of the profession.
Submissions
IPIC committees work on a variety of submissions each year. These can include responses to government consultations, court interventions, and IPIC led initiatives. This search engine allows you to explore what IPIC has been working on over the past few years and familiarize yourself with our position on key issues. In most cases, only IPIC members have access to the full text of the submission.
