Help Support the IPIC Foundation this GivingTuesday!
This November 28th the IPIC Foundation (Patent &Trademark Institute Educational Foundation (PTIEF), whose objective is to support education and scholarship in the field of IP law, will be participating in GivingTuesday!
GivingTuesday occurs the Tuesday following Black Friday and Cyber Monday and is a global day of giving, a day to-do good that harnesses the power of social media to raise awareness and funds for important causes. Millions of Canadians participate in GivingTuesday annually and last year, over $50 million was raised for Canadian charities on GivingTuesday!
This year the IPIC Foundation is excited to participate in GivingTuesday once again! We encourage members of IPIC and the Canadian IP community to support the Foundation’s goal of growing its fund so that it can continue to offer financial support to deserving individuals from historically underrepresented groups in IP to pursue education opportunities and achieve their professional goals.
Please consider making a donation through Canada Helps using the link below. Donations are secure and eligible for a tax receipt. Any amount is welcome and appreciated, and will help us to reach our goals.
Please also consider spreading the word by following the PTIEF on LinkedIn and or liking or sharing our messages on social media!
Together we can help the Foundation support educational pursuits and promote diversity for years to come.
If you have questions, or need further information about the Foundation please contact the IPIC Foundation Committee Chair Nicole Mantini (nmantini@torys.com) or Vice-Chair Kevin Shipley (kshipley@foglers.com)
