An Important Update About IPIC's 2020 Annual Conference

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty of travel restrictions, of social distancing protocols that may still be in place and most importantly, to ensure the safety and well-being of our members, staff and delegates, IPIC Council has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Annual Conference which was to be held in Whistler, BC from September 30th – October 2nd. On a positive note, IPIC staff has been able to successfully negotiate a new date with the Whistler suppliers, and as such, our 2022 Annual Conference will be held in Whistler from September 28th to 30th.  

We are pleased to confirm that in place of this year’s in-person conference, IPIC will offer a virtual event over the original 2020 dates. The Conference Committee and IPIC staff are looking at possible options as to what a virtual event may look like and are exploring different platforms that could be used to deliver such an event. We look forward to providing additional details in the coming month in regards to scheduling, speakers, CPD hours and registration.
