Patent Lawyer or Patent Agent

Rowand LLP is seeking a patent lawyer or patent agent.  This is a unique opportunity to join Canada’s leading high-tech patent prosecution boutique. Due to our focus on software-implemented innovation for leading Canadian companies, a background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field is highly valued.

We need a candidate with a sharp analytical mind and superb written advocacy skills. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution. Experience in US prosecution is a significant asset. Qualification as a registered patent agent is also an asset. For those not yet qualified, our firm is dedicated to supporting the successful candidate in passing the patent agency qualifying examinations.
