This webinar will provide an overview of the Madrid Protocol ("Madrid") including its key benefits and challenges and provide insight into the role of CIPO as an originating and receiving office. It will also discuss the potential impacts of Canada’s accession to Madrid on your associate and direct client practices, draw from the experiences in other jurisdictions, and suggest how to best prepare for this new filing option.
