To continue our growth, we are looking for Registered Patent Agents to join our dynamic team. The selected candidates will have the opportunity to grow within one of the most nationally recognized firms, especially for its work in intellectual property. They will also play a key role in obtaining patents for our local and international clients.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet with inventors to discuss cutting-edge technologies
- Ensuring the preparation, drafting and prosecution of patent applications in Canada and around the world
- Prepare patentability, infringement, validity and freedom to manufacture opinions
- Use knowledge on a daily basis in a creative and innovative business environment within a legal framework
- Meet tight deadlines and manage time effectively
- Communicate with clients to meet their requests.
REQUIREMENTS
- Have a Bachelors degree in chemical engineering
- Have a masters degree or PhD in chemical engineering (an asset)
- Be a Canadian patent agent registered with CPATA or in the process of becoming one (an asset)
- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
