PROFESSIONAL POSITION OPENINGS

Riches, McKenzie & Herbert LLP is one of Canada’s oldest law firms practicing exclusively in the area of intellectual property law. Established in 1887, Riches represents Canadian and international clients, protecting and enforcing their rights in Canada and though out the world.

We are seeking the following:

  1. A recently called associate to join our Trademark Prosecution and Litigation Groups. Preference will be given to candidates who have an interest and experience in trademark law and litigation in the Federal Court. We provide comprehensive training to our associates with a focus on passing the Trademark Agent exam. Current agents are also invited to apply. A successful candidate will work with senior trademark agents/lawyers to service a robust existing practice.

  2. A trademark agent with two plus (2+) years’ experience in trademark clearance, prosecution, and oppositions

  3. A mid-level associate with four (4) or more years of relevant experience to join our Patent Prosecution Group as a Class 1 patent agent. An undergraduate degree in engineering or applied science will be considered an asset.

  4. A recently called associate to join our Patent Prosecution Group as a patent agent/patent agent trainee. Preference will be given to candidates who possess an undergraduate degree in engineering or applied science.
