Canada Summer Jobs - Project Administration Officer (9 weeks)

About IPIC

The Intellectual Property Institute of Canada is the professional association of patent agents, trademark agents, and intellectual property lawyers in Canada. IPIC advances the development of intellectual property law and supports a strong innovation ecosystem across the country.

What You’ll Do

Communications & Marketing

  • Provide general support to communications activities across the organization
  • Assist with the development and coordination of communications materials
  • Conduct research and support information management as needed
  • Contribute to communications-related projects and initiatives

Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Assist with sponsor research and outreach to support revenue growth initiatives
  • Help track engagement activities and summarize progress and outcomes
  • Support planning and coordination of stakeholder engagement activities
  • Assist in documenting interactions and identifying key insights

Education & Events

  • Assist with the coordination and execution of conference logistics, including tracking timelines and preparing materials, as required
  • Support the Manager, Education & Events with sponsor and exhibitor coordination by maintaining communications, organizing deliverables, and ensuring sponsorship commitments are fulfilled
  • Provide administrative support to the Education team, including scheduling, document preparation, and responding to conference inquiries, as required

To apply for this job, you must:

  • Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)
  • Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada

International students and other temporary residents of Canada are not eligible.
