This webinar will provide practical advice to junior and intermediate IP lawyers navigating the refusals motion stage of the discovery process. Topics will address the steps and potential pitfalls that can arise in the refusals process, including:

  • Negotiating positions on refusals at a meet and confer and other settlement strategies
  • Drafting clear and persuasive written materials for a refusals motion
  • Presenting information and arguing refusals effectively before the Court
  • Drafting an order following the motion
  • Managing client expectations through the refusals motion
