This webinar will equip attendees with practical strategies for protecting intellectual property rights in the digital landscape. Presenters will walk through the available “takedown” mechanisms for disputes involving app stores, major e-commerce retailers, social media platforms, search engines and more. With a focus on real-world applications and actionable tips, participants will leave with a clear framework for navigating online IP enforcement.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Identify common types of online infringements and the corresponding takedown mechanisms.
  • Advise clients on whether and how to use these mechanisms to enforce IP rights effectively online.
  • Apply practical strategies to maximize the effectiveness of takedown requests.
  • Compare the different processes and evidentiary requirements across major online platforms.
  • Anticipate and respond to common challenges or counterclaims arising during the takedown process.
