Path to Partnership – the Inside Track and Inclusivity

Held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 1 pm - 2 pm ET

For young IP associates, the path to partnership is often shrouded in a great deal of mystery. Questions that often arise include – what exactly does “partnership” mean? What does it take to become a partner? However, the real focus on this journey is the approaches you can take today in developing your legal craft and business to grow a rewarding and sustainable career. In this webinar, you will hear from practitioners who have thought deeply about growing good lawyers and building profitable and sustainable business within the highly variable framework of legal partnerships. This discussion will enable young IP practitioners to make informed and educated decisions about their future and explore the different aspects of inclusivity that may impact our profession.

From this perspective, this webinar will be informative in respect of: (i) what partnership means; (ii) what is the business of law, and (iii) what early steps an associate can take to get ready for your path to a successful and fulfilling career in whatever form that may take.
