The reality of a corporate IP professional goes beyond the need to understand IP operational contracts (confidentiality agreements, development agreements, research agreements, joint venture agreements, etc.). It requires, first and foremost, a thorough understanding of operations of the business within which he/she operates to ensure that the IP operational contracts negotiated reflect the internal reality of the business and/or will be respected. In this webinar, in-house counsel will share their experience and explain how they must take into account the internal reality of the company in the negotiation of IP operational contracts, but more importantly, how they go about ensuring that IP operational contracts are respected internally, once signed, with practical examples and anecdotes.
