Introduction to Traditional Knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expressions

This webinar will serve as a basic introduction to the concepts of Traditional Knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expressions, and how they relate to IP, having regard to Canada’s IP Strategy announced by the federal government on April 26, 2018. It will also touch upon the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and Canada’s support of same, as well as related issues, including those addressed by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
