In response to members’ feedback regarding the need for more networking opportunities, IPIC is presenting the first in a series of breakfast sessions where both businesses and IP professionals can meet and discuss various IP topics. Each session will include a short presentation on an IP-related topic as well as time to network during breakfast. The sessions will be offered in various locations across Canada.
This first breakfast session will focus on intellectual property aspects of agreements between early-stage companies and partners, including universities, employees and partnerships with other organizations. Participants will learn about common IP issues that arise in technology licensing and collaboration agreements and strategies for protecting core company IP while also getting the deal done.
The event will take place at MaRS Discovery District, offering IP professionals, entrepreneurs and business experts the opportunity to network.
