Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) Submission regarding CUSMA Consultations (IP Chapter – Chapter 20

The Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) has submitted feedback to Global Affairs Canada on CUSMA's intellectual property chapter, particularly concerning trademarks, well-known trademarks, traditional knowledge, and committee functions. IPIC highlights areas for improvement in Canada’s Trademarks Act to better align with CUSMA, especially regarding collective marks and well-known trademarks.
