Survey will close on February 9, 2024 at 6pm
As part of our ongoing commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) as a key driver of IPIC's work as well as our EDI project funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada titled Building Back Through Innovation & Increasing Diversity in Canada’s IP Sector, we're excited to release IPIC's Diversity, Demographic, and Inclusion Pulse Survey. All IPIC members are invited to participate, as well as non-IPIC members who are part of the Canadian IP profession.
Your participation in this survey is extremely important and will help IPIC understand perspectives on these issues from IP professionals across Canada in order to support a more inclusive IP profession where all members, both present and future, have a sense of belonging. IPIC’s EDI initiatives, including this survey, involve considerations of many issues such as race, indigeneity, socioeconomic status, culture, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, ability, spirituality, language, education, and others.
In designing and developing the survey, IPIC has once again worked closely with the third-party EDI consulting firm, Global Learning Inc., and they will anonymously report on the data collected. The results of this voluntary, confidential, and anonymous survey will also assist IPIC in making evidence-based decisions along with prioritizing and evaluating the impact of our EDI-related initiatives.
A summary of the survey results will be shared in the coming months. Stay tuned to our weekly IP Newsbreak and our UnscrIPted blog for more EDI developments.
SURVEY INSTRUCTIONS
This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and you must complete the survey in one sitting as no identifying information is collected. The survey is available in English and French.
