IPIC offers tutorial sessions in preparation for the Patent Agents' Examination. Candidates MUST be planning to sit for at least one paper of the 2011 Exam.

Tutorial Exercises and Sessions

Exercises will be forwarded to candidates in early January. Candidates will be required to submit answers to the tutorial exercises by January 28. The exercises will be discussed in four half-day sessions on February 28 and March 1, 2011.

Note: The review of answers received after the due date will be at the tutor's discretion.

Tour of the Patent Office

Students are invited to take part in a tour of the Patent Office on Wednesday, March 2, 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. This is an opportunity to learn more about patent prosecution and meet with patent examiners.

Cancellation Policy

A refund will be granted up to and including December 17, 2010, less a $50 cancellation fee.

The tutorials are not restricted to IPIC members but should it become necessary to restrict the number of candidates, preference will be given to IPIC members.
